I start painting. The paint has a bit of a film over the top--no good tools or sticks to remove it, but I press on with the foamy brush. This is a whimpy bruch for this super thick, rich, Iraqi oil-based paint. This paint is going on like butter--wow is it thick. Pretty soon I realize that it really smells too--smells like a gasoline spill in my office, and in the office next door, and in all the berthing areas down the hall. I have single-handedly done the impossible--I made the air in this place worse!!!
But the door looks great! Actually, it needs another coat, but I cannot bring myself to open the can again...
